The Product Analyst Intern will support the Product Management team in the analysis, planning, and delivery of AI-enabled digital products and employee experiences. The intern will assist in gathering and analyzing business and user requirements, support Agile delivery processes, and contribute to continuous improvement of product capabilities within the World Bank Group's digital transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in gathering, documenting, and analyzing business and user requirements through interviews, research, and stakeholder engagement
  • Support the development and maintenance of product artifacts including business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, journey maps, and feature documentation
  • Conduct user research and competitive analysis to identify industry trends, emerging AI capabilities, and best practices that can inform product strategy and design
  • Analyze business processes and user workflows to identify opportunities for simplification, automation, and improved user experiences
  • Support Product Managers and Product Owners in backlog management, requirements refinement, and prioritization activities
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including backlog refinement sessions, sprint reviews, planning sessions, demonstrations, and retrospectives
  • Develop and maintain product documentation, decision logs, dependency trackers, and other product management artifacts
  • Support the creation and analysis of key product metrics, adoption indicators, user feedback, and performance measurements to inform product decisions
  • Help document AI-related use cases, user scenarios, functional requirements, and business outcomes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including technology, UX, and operations stakeholders to ensure product requirements are well understood and aligned
  • Assist in the validation of delivered functionality by supporting user acceptance testing, documenting findings, and tracking feedback
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying AI opportunities to improve processes, product quality, and user satisfaction
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and summaries to communicate product progress, findings, recommendations, and insights to stakeholders

Requirements

  • Candidates must be currently enrolled in, or in the final year of, an undergraduate program
  • Candidates must have 0–6 years of relevant professional experience
  • Academic background must align with the requirements outlined in the job description
  • Demonstrated interest in development work and the World Bank Group’s mission
  • Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in diverse, team-based environments
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities within tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in English; additional languages may be required depending on the role
