Interns participate in lectures, team projects, knowledge exchange activities, and support KGGTF activities to gain practical skills and sector knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Participate in lectures and learning sessions on green growth, international development, WBG operations, and KGGTF-supported activities.
- Undertake a team project related to KGGTF’s grant portfolio and complete individual research, communications, or knowledge assignments.
- Support selected activities related to grant operations, monitoring and evaluation, research, partnership engagement, and communications.
- Participate in knowledge exchange visits, meetings, and site visits, assisting with coordination, documentation, and preparation of summaries or communications materials.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in Master’s degree program or a PhD program.
- Academic background in one or more fields relevant to KGGTF-supported green growth sectors, including agriculture; environment and natural resources; water; climate change mitigation and adaptation; energy; transport and mobility; urban planning and urban development; digital development; economics; public policy; international development; or other related disciplines.
- Full professional proficiency in both Korean and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills, is required.
- Relevant professional, academic, or research experience in at least one KGGTF-supported green growth sector or cross-cutting area, including agriculture; environment and natural resources; water; climate change mitigation and adaptation; energy; transport and mobility; urban development; or digital development and technology-enabled green growth.
- Experience in research, data analysis, communications, digital content development, or the preparation of knowledge products is an advantage.
- Ability to work effectively in diverse and collaborative team environments.
