The World Bank Group's WBG Pioneers Internship Program offers undergraduate and postgraduate students a high impact learning experience focused on global development. The Knowledge Management Intern will support the KIUPR unit by conducting systematic reviews of project documents and building a structured repository of operations in fragile, conflict, and violence-affected settings related to disaster risk management, urban resilience, and land activities.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct a systematic review of WBG project documents (PADs, ICRs, evaluations, and knowledge notes) to identify operations in FCV settings with DRM, urban resilience, and land activities.
  • Build and populate a structured, searchable repository (Excel-based) of individual activities and components implemented across these operations, organized by thematic subcategory.
  • Systematically extract and record key outputs, implementation arrangements, links to jobs and private sector engagement, results framework indicators, implementation challenges, lessons learned, and good practices for each activity.
  • Apply or support the application of AI-assisted methods for document analysis to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Ensure the repository is structured to allow filtering, updating, and expansion over time.
