See your match score & applyThe Extended Term Consultant (ETC) will provide integrated support across trust fund management, administration, communications, and knowledge management to strengthen SCFI’s operational effectiveness and institutional visibility. The role involves managing the SCFI Trust Fund portfolio, supporting donor reporting, communications, website and digital content management, knowledge management, and administrative and event management support.
Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day management of the SCFI Trust Fund portfolio, including tracking grant approvals, commitments, disbursements, and implementation status.
- Assist in internal reporting, monitoring and evaluation data collection, and quality assurance processes in line with World Bank trust fund requirements.
- Support the preparation of donor-facing deliverables, including annual reports, presentations, results summaries, financial tables, and ad hoc briefing notes.
- Maintain an up-to-date portfolio monitoring system, including grant-level documentation, work plans, and key milestones.
- Support operational preparation for the next phase of the SCFI Trust Fund (Phase 5).
- Support the design and implementation of SCFI communication and visibility activities in line with donor requirements and World Bank guidelines.
- Prepare communication materials, including newsletters, short articles, event summaries, and web content.
- Coordinate the production and regular dissemination of the SCFI newsletter and other outreach materials.
- Manage and regularly update the SCFI website, including project descriptions, news items, publications, and event information.
- Coordinate with technical and communications teams to ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of online content.
- Support the development and maintenance of the knowledge repositories built within the SCFI website.
- Organize knowledge products, presentations, reports, and learning materials to improve accessibility for SCFI staff and partners.
- Provide administrative support for SCFI activities including meetings, missions, conferences, and knowledge exchange programs.
- Coordinate end-to-end logistics for SCFI events, including agendas, venue arrangements, participant coordination, materials preparation, working closely with ACS staff.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders (World Bank teams, Korean partner institutions, vendors, and service providers) to ensure smooth delivery of events.
- Support procurement, contracting, and documentation processes related to SCFI-funded activities, in coordination with task teams.
- Assist with budget tracking, payment follow-up, and operational documentation in coordination with relevant World Bank units.
- Maintain organized records of contracts, event documentation, correspondence, and operational files.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or equivalent required; degree in economics, finance, public policy, international development, communications, or a related field is an advantage.
- At least 2 years of relevant professional experience in operations support, trust fund or project management, communications, or knowledge management, preferably in an international organization.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; fluency in Korean required.
- Proven experience with donor reporting, portfolio tracking, and administrative processes is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in common office and digital tools (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, content management systems).
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and collaborate effectively in a multicultural team environment.
