Auxiliar de Seguimiento (Monitor de Campo)

The Auxiliar de Seguimiento (Monitor de Campo) will conduct monitoring activities within a specific coverage area and report to support the effective delivery of assistance measures. The role involves verifying distribution movements, maintaining records, collecting data, liaising with partners, and preparing field mission reports under the supervision of the Disaster Risk Management and Climate Change Unit Manager.

Responsibilities

• Verify planned movements and distribution of food and non-food items, report issues to supervisor, and ensure quantity and quality compliance with WFP standards.
• Maintain records and documentation on monitoring plans, product movements, and program checklists to support effective delivery and distribution.
• Collect data on assistance programs following defined guidelines to support program reviews and informed decision-making.
• Maintain contact with cooperating partners and internal interlocutors to gather feedback and observations for program review and service improvement.
• Receive and compile feedback from partners and beneficiaries to identify programmatic issues and enhance operational efficiency.
• Provide guidance to cooperating partners on WFP operational practices and monitoring tools to assist in self-monitoring tasks and increase WFP visibility in coverage areas.
• Prepare reports on field missions to document program implementation.
• Follow established emergency intervention procedures related to food assistance in emergencies.
• Perform any other related duties as required.

Requirements

• Completion of secondary education.
• Four years of demonstrated work experience in similar activities.
• Experience in data analysis related to products and program effects.
• General knowledge of WFP monitoring and evaluation systems and standards.
• Fluency in Spanish (Level C).
• Working knowledge of English for reading WFP materials and policies (desirable).
