Asociado/a de Monitoreo y Evaluación

Under the direct supervision of the Head of Office, as Head of the Monitoring & Evaluation Unit, the incumbent will coordinate the planning, implementation and monitoring of M&E activities linked to the Country Strategic Plan and other interventions of the Country Office. The role involves managing data collection, validation, analysis, providing technical guidance, coordinating with partners, and leading the M&E team to support operational and strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate planning, implementation and monitoring of M&E activities linked to CSP and other Country Office interventions.
• Manage collection, validation, consolidation and analysis of qualitative and quantitative information for monitoring results, indicators, corporate commitments and reporting requirements.
• Ensure quality, consistency and integrity of data, information collection tools and analytical products developed by the unit.
• Provide technical guidance to programmatic units, field offices, cooperating partners and other stakeholders on monitoring, evaluation, accountability and information management.
• Coordinate development, adaptation and implementation of M&E methodologies, instruments, processes and systems according to WFP standards.
• Generate analysis, evidence and information products to support operational and strategic decision-making of the Country Office.
• Coordinate with WFP units, government entities, UN agencies, implementing partners and other relevant actors to ensure proper execution of M&E activities.
• Lead and participate in monitoring missions, data collection exercises, evaluations, verifications, geospatial analysis and other field monitoring activities.
• Follow up on implementation of recommendations, action plans and improvement measures derived from monitoring exercises, evaluations, reviews and audits.
• Represent the unit in meetings, working groups, workshops, missions and other internal and external coordination spaces as required.
• Prepare periodic reports on progress, findings, challenges and recommendations related to M&E activities implementation.
• Lead the Monitoring & Evaluation team.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
