The Content and Communications Lead will manage the development and delivery of a report on multistakeholder narratives about the future and other content products related to Strategic Intelligence and Foresight. The role involves project management, editorial production, and strategic communications to translate complex material into clear narratives for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, project manage and deliver a Forum report bringing together multistakeholder narratives about the future, working closely with the Foresight Team and the Forum’s Global Foresight Network, as well as other internal/external contributors
  • Coordinate the editorial calendar, contributor inputs, review cycles and production timeline, ensuring on-time, high-quality delivery
  • Edit and shape content for tone, clarity, narrative coherence and consistency with Forum style and standards
  • Liaise with design and other internal teams to manage the report's production and publication
  • Contribute to the development, editing and delivery of a range of other content products (e.g. articles, briefs, explainers, transcripts, video/audio scripts, social content) related to Strategic Intelligence and Foresight
  • Contribute to the development, editing and dissemination of communications content and dynamic explainers and onboarding materials that promote and explain the Forum's work on Strategic Intelligence and Foresight to internal and external audiences
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of communications strategies (digital, social, internal channels, press materials as relevant) in coordination with the Forum's broader communications and digital teams
  • Support the Strategic Intelligence and Foresight teams in their engagement with Forum teams, external partners and other stakeholders, including preparing Transformation Map texts

Requirements

  • University degree in a relevant field (e.g. communications, journalism, international relations, political science, or related discipline); advanced degree an asset
  • Minimum 5–7 years of relevant professional experience in editorial content development, communications, publishing or a related field, ideally within an international organization, media, think tank or consultancy environment
  • Demonstrated experience project managing complex, multi-contributor publications from concept to delivery
  • Excellent writing, editing and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex or technical material into clear, engaging content for diverse audiences
  • Experience developing and executing communications and content dissemination strategies across digital and traditional channels
  • Fluency in English required (spoken and written); additional languages an asset
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Collaborative, proactive and able to work effectively across a fast-paced organization
  • Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to editorial quality
  • Comfortable managing ambiguity and shifting priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability for end-to-end delivery
  • Discretion and sound judgement when engaging with senior stakeholders and external partners
