Technical Advisor, Country Engagement and Policy Consultant

The consultant will coordinate and support implementation of the Partnership for a Lead-Free Future's country engagement and policy portfolio, working across priority countries to strengthen advocacy pathways, support country champions, connect country progress to regional and global policy opportunities, and ensure advocacy efforts are informed by credible technical evidence.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Public Health, Environmental Health, Global Health, Public Policy, International Development, International Relations, Environmental Policy, or another relevant field.
• A minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible professional experience in global health, environmental health, policy, advocacy, international development, or related fields.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating complex multi-country and/or multi-stakeholder initiatives.
• Experience supporting government engagement, policy processes, regional or global advocacy initiatives, or partnership coordination.
• Proven experience translating technical evidence into policy, advocacy and knowledge products.
• Strong understanding of public health, environmental health, policy, and international development.
• Strong project management and programme coordination skills.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and partnership coordination skills.
• Excellent analytical, drafting, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate across multiple partners and translate technical evidence into strategic recommendations and advocacy products.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in multicultural and multidisciplinary environments.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Experience working with UNICEF, UN agencies, multilateral organizations, governments, or international partnerships is desirable.
• Familiarity with childhood lead poisoning, environmental health, chemicals and waste management, or related public health issues is desirable.
• Experience supporting regional or global policy processes and high-level stakeholder engagement is desirable.
• Experience working across low- and middle-income countries and with government counterparts is desirable.
