Senior Driver

The Senior Driver provides safe, secure, reliable, and professional transportation services to the Head of Office. The role includes coordination with stakeholders, application of UN and diplomatic protocols, use of digital vehicle management systems, and basic administrative and logistical support.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, secure, reliable, and professional transportation services to the Head of Office.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders and apply UN and diplomatic protocols.
• Use digital vehicle management and tracking systems.
• Provide basic administrative and logistical support.
• Contribute to strengthening team capability by sharing knowledge and supporting the development of other drivers.
• Demonstrate a strong client-focused approach, sound judgment, and a high level of responsibility.
• Build effective working relationships with people from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds.

Requirements

• Secondary Education in any related fields and a valid heavy vehicle driving license.
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience in executive transportation, driver, fleet management, protocol management, security coordination, vehicle maintenance, logistics coordination, road safety and any other related fields.
• Vehicle Tracking Systems, Safe Driving, Reporting, Local Driving Rules and Regulations, Transporting.
• English - Proficient/Fluent.
• Desirable: Knowledge of the local languages is considered as an asset.
• Desirable: Defensive driving certification, first aid training, knowledge of diplomatic protocol, experience in international organizations, knowledge of local languages, airport protocol experience, experience coordinating with security services, training drivers and digital logbook experience.
• Relevant experience at country level, particularly in development, fragile settings and humanitarian contexts.
