See your match score & applyThe Partnerships Officer (High Value) manages relationships with UNICEF high-value private sector partners in Indonesia to advance children's rights and wellbeing. The role involves implementing partnership strategies, strengthening existing partnerships, and monitoring fundraising efforts to achieve program results.
Responsibilities
- Manage the implementation of agreed partnerships, liaising with Communication and relevant Programme sections; cultivate and expand existing high-value partners through comprehensive account management.
- Assess potential market and identify opportunities for new partnerships such as philanthropy, cause-related marketing, customer and employee giving, special events, under guidance.
- Research prospects and develop feasible and beneficial partnership proposals in collaboration with High Value Partnerships team, Programme team, Communication team, and others.
- Manage and maintain the high-value partnerships pipeline.
- Carry out administrative and operational tasks for fundraising activities including obtaining clearances and approvals, due diligence checking, and budget control.
- Prepare required activity reports, investment funding applications and other documents as needed by PFP Regional Support Centre and HQ.
- Develop integrated information materials with other UNICEF staff to support corporate partnerships and raise public awareness of UNICEF’s work in Indonesia.
- Participate in meetings, workshops and other fora with private/public sector organisations to network and facilitate fundraising strategies implementation.
- Perform other duties as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Communications or related subjects.
- Minimum one (1) year of professional experience in the relevant field or in business development and management with particular focus on fundraising/ marketing/ communication activities.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Relevant experience at country level, particularly in development, fragile settings and humanitarian contexts (desirable).
- Experience managing fundraising activities among private sector organizations/ companies/ individuals, through social marketing and advocacy /information /communication techniques and current knowledge of market research methods (desirable).
- Experience in working within business and the private sector, and/or with NGOs (desirable).
- Experience in priority banking or high-value client relationship management (desirable).
- Experience in budgeting and financial skills (desirable).
