Nutrition Data Management and Analysis Consultant

The consultancy aims to strengthen the availability, quality, harmonization and use of nutrition data for global analysis, reporting and decision-making, while establishing data foundations to leverage automation and AI for nutrition data management, analysis and visualization. The consultant will support the development and strengthening of consolidated nutrition databases to enable systematic analysis of nutrition needs, targets, reach, coverage and programme performance across countries and contexts.

Responsibilities

• Development of a Comprehensive Wasting Programming Database
• Development of a Nutrition Assessments Database
• Leadership and Technical Contribution to the GRFC – Nutrition Component
• Contribution to the CNR 2027 – Wasting Programming

Requirements

• Master's in Nutrition, Epidemiology, Public Health, Statistics, or related field
• Minimum 8 years’ experience working in Nutrition, especially on Nutrition information management and NIS
• Proven experience with data management and database development
• Strong experience with analysing or conducting: Nutrition surveys and IPC AMN analyses
• Proven experience with Excel and other statistical softwares (R, Stata, Python, etc.)
• Demonstrated experience contributing to the Global Report on Food Crises (GRFC) and related nutrition analyses.
• Fluency in English
• Strong analytical and data management skills
• Attention to detail and data quality
• Ability to synthesize complex information
• Excellent writing and presentation skills
• Proven ability to work independently and deliver results
• Prior experience working with UNICEF is an asset
