International Consultant for an Effective Vaccine Management (EVM) assessment

The Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan is conducting an Effective Vaccine Management (EVM) Assessment to evaluate the national vaccine supply chain and identify improvement opportunities. The consultant will support this assessment by applying expertise in immunization programmes and vaccine management.

Responsibilities

• Conduct the Effective Vaccine Management (EVM) assessment of the national vaccine supply chain in Turkmenistan.
• Analyze data collected during the assessment and interpret quantitative and qualitative information.
• Develop evidence-based recommendations to improve vaccine management and supply chain performance.
• Prepare reports and presentations summarizing findings and recommendations.
• Support the development of continuous Improvement Plans (cIPs) for the immunization supply chain.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in public health, immunization programmes, vaccine management, epidemiology, supply chain management, logistics, cold chain management
• Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible professional experience in immunization programmes and vaccine management.
• Familiarity with the WHO EVM assessment methodology and tools and previous experience with WHO/UNICEF Effective Vaccine Management (EVM) assessments or similar vaccine supply chain assessments.
• Strong analytical, report-writing, and presentation skills.
• Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret quantitative and qualitative data and develop evidence-based recommendations.
• Experience in developing continuous Improvement Plans (cIPs) for immunization supply chains.
• Experience in working with ministries of health, international organizations, or development partners in the Region or countries with similar health system contexts (desirable).
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English required.
• Knowledge of Russian will be an asset.
