The consultant will provide specialized expertise to diagnose operational barriers, strengthen systems and processes, improve leadership and team capability, and support implementation of a performance turnaround roadmap for UNICEF Thailand's in-house Face-to-Face fundraising operation. The goal is to establish a high-performing, scalable, and sustainable donor acquisition operation contributing to growth and improved fundraising outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct a structured diagnostic of the in-house F2F operation, including performance, productivity, donor quality, workforce capability, team structure, location and event strategy, agency contribution, and operational bottlenecks
  • Develop a prioritized turnaround and scaling roadmap with clear recommendations, milestones, accountabilities, and decision points to improve performance and sustainability
  • Lead the strategic development and scaling of UNICEF Thailand’s In-House F2F Fundraising Programme to drive sustainable donor acquisition growth and improve overall fundraising performance
  • Strengthen donor acquisition quality and operational effectiveness through data-driven decision-making, market intelligence, and the adoption of fundraising best practices
  • Provide strategic oversight of budgets, Cost Per Acquisition (CPA), and financial performance to ensure cost efficiency, compliance, and long-term sustainability
  • Develop organizational capability and talent pipelines through workforce planning, leadership development, coaching, and succession planning initiatives
  • Build the leadership and management capacity of the F2F management team, enabling greater operational independence, accountability, and strategic decision-making
  • Enhance performance management and change management frameworks to improve productivity, employee engagement, operational governance, and continuous improvement
  • Strengthen the management of fundraising agencies and external partners through performance oversight, stakeholder coordination, and partnership optimization
  • Undertake in-country travel, if required

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or social work
  • 5 Years of work experience
  • Fluency in either English and Thai is Required
  • Strategic thinking and goal development
  • Coaching/advisory skills – the ability to help others in achieving fundraising and career goals
  • Strong leadership – the ability to inspire, motivate, and drive the team towards success
  • Clear communicator with excellent interpersonal skills – the ability to build relationships with team members and internal stakeholders and communicate effectively
  • Critical thinker and problem solver – the ability to ask clear probing questions and drive solutions quickly
  • Proactive – the ability to take initiative and work with minimum supervision
  • Intermediate data and financial literacy – the ability to derive insights from performance dashboards and financial reports (profit and loss statements, monthly financial reports)
  • Desirable: Working experience in Asia-Pacific region
