Driver

The Driver provides reliable and safe driving services for staff and officials, ensuring professionalism, discretion, integrity, and adherence to local driving regulations. The role includes vehicle maintenance and documentation management under the supervision of the Administrative Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Provide reliable and safe driving services for staff, officials, and visitors.
• Drive office vehicles to transport personnel and visitors.
• Maintain the assigned vehicle.
• Manage vehicle-related documentation and information.

Requirements

• A secondary school diploma is required.
• At least two years of proven professional experience in driving, preferably with companies, international institutions, or a UN organization with satisfactory evaluation.
• Holder of a valid driving license with good knowledge of local driving rules and road code.
• Strong skills in analysis, planning, and organization, with strict adherence to instructions and procedures.
• Fluency in French is required.
• Knowledge of another official UN language (English, Arabic, Chinese, Russian, or Spanish) and Bambara (local language) is an asset.
• Relevant national experience, particularly in development, fragility, and humanitarian contexts.
