Content Producer National Consultant – Multimedia

The Content Producer National Consultant will provide video production services to document program impact and produce compelling content highlighting stories of children and families affected by the humanitarian crisis in Myanmar. The role requires professional video production expertise and field experience in development or humanitarian contexts.

Responsibilities

• Document program impact through video production.
• Produce compelling, platform-ready content highlighting stories of children and families navigating the humanitarian crisis in Myanmar.
• Conduct field interviews and create human-centred narratives.
• Manage filming, editing, and post-production processes to deliver high-quality multimedia content.

Requirements

• Diploma or certificate in Communications, Journalism, Photography, Film/Video Production, Visual Arts, or any related field.
• Secondary education combined with a minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in content production, including demonstrated expertise in professional video production (filming, editing and post-production).
• At least 3 years of field experience in producing content for development, humanitarian, or child rights.
• Myanmar national, able to travel within the country, including to remote areas and on short notice.
• Proficiency in professional video-editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro and/or Final Cut Pro), including colour grading, subtitling and sound editing.
• Proven ability to conduct field interviews and produce compelling, human-centred narratives.
• Previous experience producing content for UNICEF or other UN agencies is an advantage.
• Applicants are required to submit a portfolio demonstrating relevant experience in professional video production, co-authored or co-produced by the applicant, relevant to development, humanitarian, or child rights, showcasing strength of visual storytelling and creativity.
