This consultancy aims to strengthen the institutional, technical, methodological, and human capacities of professionals in the protection and justice system of Equatorial Guinea regarding specialized listening and testimony taking from children and adolescents victims, survivors, and witnesses of crimes. The consultancy will develop practical, contextualized pedagogical tools including a Technical Guide for Participants, a Trainer's Manual, and a digital/hybrid adaptation, as well as a training program for trainers to ensure sustainability and replicability at the national level.

Responsibilities

• Develop practical, contextualized pedagogical tools including a Technical Guide for Participants, a Trainer's Manual, and a digital/hybrid adaptation for specialized interviews with children and adolescents victims and witnesses.
• Design and implement a training program for trainers to ensure sustainability and replicability of the process at the national level.
• Translate existing technical content and international standards into operational, practical, and pedagogical tools applicable to prosecutors and justice system operators in Equatorial Guinea.
• Promote practices based on respect for children's rights, prevention of revictimization, and consideration of specific developmental needs.
• Facilitate institutional coordination among UNICEF, the Attorney General's Office, intersectoral coordination mechanisms, and other relevant sectors.
• Conduct workshops and participatory sessions to train professionals in the justice system on specialized interview methodologies.
• Ensure the quality and applicability of developed materials to improve the intervention quality at all levels within the justice system.

Requirements

• University degree in relevant areas such as Law, Psychology, Social Work, Education, Pedagogy, or Social Sciences providing a solid conceptual basis to address legal and psychosocial aspects of intervention with children and adolescents.
• Postgraduate training or specialization in child protection, human rights, or pedagogical methodologies is valued as it provides additional analytical depth and technical specialization.
• Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant professional experience demonstrating sustained work in child and adolescent protection, particularly in contexts of violence or vulnerability.
• Experience with justice systems including work with prosecutors, courts, or other legal institutions.
• Experience designing and implementing training processes, developing pedagogical materials, or strengthening institutional capacities, especially with public officials linked to the justice sector.
• Experience in developing technical guides or manuals is especially valued.
• Participation in training of trainers programs is valued.
• Experience working in interinstitutional contexts or with international organizations is valued.
• Fluency in Spanish is mandatory as all consultancy products will be developed in this language and directed at national institutions operating in this linguistic context.
• Knowledge of English or French is valued as it facilitates access and proper interpretation of international standards, normative frameworks, technical guides, and comparative experiences relevant to child protection and justice.
• High technical writing skills to transform specialized content into clear, structured, and easily applicable materials for professionals from different sectors.
• Strong facilitation skills for training processes including conducting workshops, facilitating participatory spaces, and adapting methodologies for adult learning.
• Institutional coordination skills to interact effectively with UNICEF, the Attorney General's Office, the intersectoral coordination support mechanism for child and adolescent protection, and other sectors with different mandates, languages, and dynamics.
• Ability to generate technical consensus and facilitate joint validation processes with clear, respectful, and results-oriented communication.
• Operational competencies such as autonomy, time management, and capacity for remote/hybrid work are valued.
