Consultant national pour la réalisation de benchmarking documenté sur le programme ACT-A – HEPR et WASH dans les zones sanitaires bénéficiaires

The consultant will conduct a documented benchmarking on the ACT-A – HEPR and WASH program in beneficiary health zones in Benin. The role involves supporting UNICEF and the government to strengthen health systems, community health, and WASH services to ensure access to essential services in vulnerable areas.

Responsibilities

• Conduct documented benchmarking on the ACT-A – HEPR and WASH program in targeted health zones.
• Support strengthening of national health systems, community health, and WASH services in vulnerable areas.
• Promote local ownership and ensure sustainability of interventions through activation of community platforms and active relays.
• Produce analytical and synthetic reports for decision-makers.
• Work on-site in the field to collect and analyze data.
• Meet deadlines and organize work efficiently.

Requirements

• Master's degree in public health, WASH, humanitarian and community program management, epidemiology, WASH or related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in evaluation, monitoring or benchmarking of large-scale health programs.
• Proven experience in public health or community development projects.
• Proven experience in managing/evaluating multi-component programs (immunization, WASH, emergency).
• Strong skills in quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis.
• Excellent ability to produce analytical and synthetic reports for decision-makers.
• Experience with multi-component programs (immunization, WASH, emergency).
• Ability to work in the field.
• Good organization and respect for deadlines.
• French is the main required language; report to be provided in French with an English translated version.
• Desirable: experience working with the United Nations system and/or UNICEF.
• Desirable: good command of English.
• Desirable: knowledge of the Beninese context and community health systems.
