See your match score & applyThe Child Protection Officer provides professional technical, operational and administrative assistance throughout the programming process for child protection programmes/projects within the Country Programme from development planning to delivery of results. The role supports recovery and humanitarian child protection programmes in Kharkiv, Sumy and Poltava Regions, working closely with government counterparts, civil society organizations, UN partners and communities to achieve sustainable child protection results and strengthen local capacities.

Requirements
- Bachelor or equivalent (First Level University Degree) in international development, social work, human rights, psychology, sociology, law, or another relevant social science field.
- 2 years of relevant work experience in Social Policy, Law, Planning, Development, Social development planning and management in social work, law, social sector and any other related fields.
- Proficient/Fluent in English and Ukrainian (in particular, formal language and child protection terminology).
- Experience in programme development in child protection related areas is desirable.
- Experience in a UN system agency or organization is desirable.
- Experience working in Government and/or CSO in the field of child protection is desirable.
- Relevant experience at country level, particularly in development, fragile settings and humanitarian contexts is desirable.
- Knowledge of another official UN language is desirable.
