The Senior Private Sector Partnerships Individual Giving Associate leads and supervises the Individual Giving team to maximize donor acquisition, retention, and development for UNHCR in Mexico. The role involves managing multi-channel fundraising campaigns, donor communications, and data analysis to increase donor lifetime value and engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Develop annual plans for acquisition, donor retention and development programme including forecasts of costs, income projections, and donor figures
  • Develop, manage and improve donor servicing and communications to provide best in class donor care
  • Work with marketing agencies to develop contact strategies and donor journeys for different segments using various channels
  • Supervise implementation of fundraising campaigns such as upgrade, conversion, acquisition, welcome, recapturing, loyalty, thank you, one-off calls, marketing research
  • Draft submissions to the National Growth Fund related to IG programs to secure funding
  • Contribute to the development of detailed annual plan for the IG programs
  • Supervise progress against work plan, expenditure, budget and targets
  • Supervise middle value donors and prospects activities and manage communication with IG Fundraising Unit and major donor specialist
  • Supervise donor database management ensuring data accuracy and provide data analysis
  • Develop and manage Face to Face fundraising strategy and supervise related activities and workforce
  • Manage relations with partners, contractors and suppliers for Face to Face programs
  • Oversee digital, DRTV and multichannel fundraising strategies and campaigns
  • Supervise lead generation programmes including telemarketing with channel integration
  • Develop test plan strategy for cold mailing and supervise production process
  • Develop cross channel donor cultivation activities to maximize acquisition investment and improve donor Life Time Value
  • Define and supervise data strategy and donor journeys
  • Supervise donor retention communication plans and fundraising activities through various media
  • Ensure donor care activities comply with local legislation and charity law
  • Lead coordination with telemarketing suppliers
  • Support risk identification and management in area of responsibility
  • Perform other duties as required

Requirements

  • 4 years relevant experience with High School Diploma; or 2 years relevant work experience with Bachelor or equivalent or higher
  • Experience in private sector fundraising, sales, client/donor communication, marketing or journalism
  • Proven experience working in donor retention/development programmes
  • Experience in coordination and supervision of fundraising campaigns in profit or non-profit industry
  • Experience in fundraising related databases and software
  • Experience with the non-profit sector is desirable
  • Previous experience in supervising database migration and setting up a Contact Relationship Management (CRM) system is desirable
  • Previous experience in project management is desirable
  • Previous experience in managing agencies / vendor is desirable
  • Experience in data analysis and segmentation
  • Knowledge of English and/or UN working language of the duty station if not English
