HR Intern

The HR Intern will assist the OPS Support unit in UNHCR Korea Private Sector Partnership Team with HR, Finance, and general administrative tasks. This internship offers practical experience related to fundraising support and organizational operations in line with UNHCR's mission.

Responsibilities

• Support in recruitment process including uploading recruitment advertisements, communicating with candidates, and coordinating recruitment logistics and interview documents.
• Assist in preparing onboarding and offboarding processes for staff members including documentation and induction programs.
• Assist with finance and administrative tasks such as uploading payment and contract documents, arranging travel, providing basic IT admin services, and overall admin support.
• Conduct research tasks related to HR, Finance, and Admin matters.
• Support compensation survey projects and provide admin/logistics support.
• Perform any other tasks relevant to the position scope as requested by supervisors.

Requirements

• Be either a recent graduate (having completed their studies within two years of applying) or a current student in a graduate/undergraduate school programme from a university or higher education facility accredited by IAU/UNESCO.
• Have completed at least two years of undergraduate studies in a field relevant or of interest to the work of UNHCR.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills in Korean and English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint is highly desirable.
• Understanding about UNHCR's works and humanitarian issues.
