Local Consultancy to conduct an assessment across the seven spotlight counties at 28 health facilities including One stop centers and 7 safe homes

The consultancy aims to conduct a comprehensive technical assessment of 28 health facilities including One Stop Centers, Integrated Health Facilities, and Safe Homes in Liberia to determine material needs and costs for refurbishing. The assessment focuses on infrastructure improvements to ensure safe, dignified, and effective survivor care under the Spotlight Initiative 2.0 programme.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessment of 13 One Stop Centers, 15 Integrated Health Facilities, and 7 Safe Homes focusing on buildings, electrical systems, plumbing and water systems, fire safety systems, security systems, and waste management.
• Provide a comprehensive report with a Costed Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and images of the facilities.
• Collaborate closely with County Health Teams and County Gender Coordinators.
• Travel to the eight spotlight counties to collect required information.
• Deliver electronic and hard copies of all key deliverables within 16 working days after contract signing.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in civil engineering, Architecture, Public Health Infrastructure, Urban and Regional Planning, Environmental Engineering or a closely related field.
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of professional experience in structural assessments, infrastructure monitoring, or facility assessment.
• Familiarity with the Liberia Ministry of Health guidelines and health sector operations.
• Data analysis, reporting, and IT skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to navigate rural and remote counties in Liberia.
• Demonstrated expertise in conducting infrastructural assessments and providing recommendations.
• Fluency in English.
