See your match score & applyThe internship offers practical experience within the Human Resources unit of the UNDP Morocco Country Office. The intern will support HR service delivery, recruitment, contract administration, and capacity development processes in line with UNDP policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to HR processes ensuring compliance with UN and UNDP rules, regulations, policies and strategies.
- Support recruitment processes including PSA, UNV and interns.
- Assist in contract management including onboarding, contract extensions and separations.
- Support preparation of documentation, submission of requests and follow-up of HR transactions.
- Provide support on staff wellbeing issues.
- Assist with leave-related matters.
- Maintain and update filing systems and HR databases.
- Participate in relevant training for operations staff.
- Support induction programs and completion of mandatory training for new staff.
Requirements
- Be enrolled in a graduate degree program (master's or higher), or in the final year of an undergraduate degree, or have recently graduated within one year, or be enrolled in a professional post-graduate training program.
- Academic background in management, economics, administration, law or equivalent.
- Technical skills in human resources, administration or equivalent.
- Experience in client-oriented service delivery is an asset.
- Experience in cost recovery is an asset.
- Experience in recruitment and HR training is an asset.
- Knowledge of SharePoint, preferably SharePoint Online, is an asset.
- Knowledge of ERP systems is an asset.
- Strong client service orientation and ability to respond professionally to client needs.
- Interest in providing innovative and sustainable solutions.
- Proactive and operational problem-solving skills, including in limited information contexts.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills with a goal-oriented mindset.
- Organizational and analytical skills for data collection, analysis and research consolidation.
- Sensitivity and adaptability to cultural, gender, religious, racial, nationality and age differences.
- Motivation to work in an international organization.
- Sensitivity to gender parity, diversity and inclusion issues and respect for equality and equity values.
- Fluency in written and spoken Arabic and French is required.
- Practical knowledge of English is an asset.
