Auxiliar Operativo de Proyecto en Procesos de Decretos de ANP

The position supports the strengthening of the Dirección de Asuntos Jurídicos of CONANP to enhance processes for establishing priority Protected Natural Areas (ANP) by coordinating and following up on activities related to decree processes. The role contributes to institutional goals under Result 1: Institutional strengthening and effective management for conservation in ANP.

Responsibilities

• Provide support in coordination and follow-up of activities with CONANP administrative units and other entities involved in the decree processes for Protected Natural Areas.
• Contribute to organizing and monitoring public consultation processes for the establishment of Protected Natural Areas.
• Support integration, review, organization and updating of technical, legal and administrative documentation related to decree and declaration processes of Protected Natural Areas.
• Assist in reviewing and organizing prior studies, draft decrees, notices and other documentation related to establishment or modification processes of Protected Natural Areas.
• Attend technical, administrative and documentary requirements necessary to support development and follow-up of establishment and modification processes of Protected Natural Areas.

Requirements

• Certificado de Preparatoria (Bachillerato) is required.
• University studies at first level (Licenciatura) in Law or related areas are not required but will be duly considered.
• At least 4 years of verifiable experience for candidates with Preparatoria certificate.
• At least 1 year of experience in legal framework for the establishment of Protected Natural Areas for candidates with Licenciatura.
• Experience in preparing quality reports.
• Experience in analyzing legal instruments for the establishment of Protected Natural Areas decrees.
• Desired knowledge/experience in legal-administrative processes.
• Desired knowledge/experience in processes for the elaboration of Protected Natural Areas decrees.
• Desired knowledge/experience in technical and legal opinions for new Protected Natural Areas decrees.
• Desired knowledge/experience in document management, file organization and information control.
• Advantageous to have knowledge in environmental legislation, environmental law, and Protected Natural Areas.
• Applicant must be a Mexican citizen or a foreigner with a migratory status allowing the function to be performed.
