Auxiliar de Gestión de Iniciativas de Confianza - Área Infraestructura_NPSA3

The position supports the design and management of trust-building initiatives in prioritized territories within the Infrastructure area, ensuring proper formulation, effective implementation, and participatory monitoring. The role involves close coordination with technical teams, communities, and regional government to translate community priorities into viable projects aligned with institutional standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist and collaborate in the design of trust-building initiatives with support from UNDP technical team and coordination with communities, ancestral authorities, and Regional Government.
• Support formulation of projects with intercultural, territorial, collective, and gender focus guided by UNDP technical team.
• Collaborate in coordination with UNDP, Regional Government, and territorial managers for implementation of initiatives.
• Support monitoring of initiative progress, document results, and provide feedback to planning process.
• Participate in technical meetings, workshops, and coordination spaces of the project.
• Prepare progress and closure reports for each initiative.
• Participate in training on internal procedures for project staff and support organization of capacity building activities as needed.
• Perform other functions within professional profile necessary for proper functioning of the project, office, and organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree with minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in design/formulation and management of public projects at subnational level (municipalities or regional governments).
• Experience in training and knowledge transfer.
• Experience in intercultural development projects.
• Experience with remote work tools such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom, cloud storage, and collaborative work tools.
• Experience with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Experience with Outlook email and its functionalities.
• Experience with infrastructure design software.
• Desirable: Additional years of experience beyond minimum required.
• Desirable: Bachelor's degree or professional title in Architecture, Engineering, Civil Construction, or equivalent.
• Desirable: Specialization in project design, public policies and/or public works, planning, community infrastructure.
• Desirable: Experience designing projects funded by public funds.
• Desirable: Experience managing and monitoring project portfolios.
• Desirable: Experience with strategies, plans, policies, budget processes and regional public programs.
• Desirable: Experience in project development and execution, budgeting, dialogue, and participation facilitation.
• Desirable: Experience managing groups including private sector, public sector, and civil society.
• Desirable: Experience in community participation and engagement with indigenous peoples, particularly the Mapuche.
• Desirable: Experience working in multidisciplinary technical teams.
• Fluency in Spanish required.
• Basic knowledge and handling of the Mapudungún language is desirable.
