The position supports the design and development of urban and housing reconstruction projects led by the Ministry of Housing and Urbanism in Chile. The role involves technical support in architectural and urban planning projects, including preparation of technical specifications, design images, budgets, and collaboration in project implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Support technical development of architecture and urbanism projects including mapping urban-housing plans.
  • Assist in developing technical specifications for urban-housing projects.
  • Support design of render images.
  • Assist in preparing budgets and technical documentation.
  • Support design proposals for new and ongoing projects of the Ministry of Housing and Urbanism.
  • Technically collaborate on projects related to the Reconstruction Plan and other strategic initiatives defined by the Project Unit of the DDU/MINVU.
  • Support creation and exchange of relevant knowledge for the project.
  • Perform other functions within professional profile as needed for project, office, and organization functioning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree OR High School certificate with 3 years of experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in landscape architecture design, urban-housing development projects, construction, project execution, and multisectoral management.
  • Experience using design tools such as AutoCad, Revit, Sketchup, Adobe.
  • Experience with remote work tools like Microsoft Teams or Zoom, cloud storage, and collaborative work tools.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Outlook email and its functionalities.
  • Fluency in Spanish is required.
  • Professional certificates or documents proving experience with the mentioned tools must be provided.
  • Desirable: professional degree in Architecture or equivalent.
  • Desirable: experience in multidisciplinary technical work related to the position.
  • Desirable: experience advising technical committees, workshops, and participatory instances.
  • Desirable: experience in facilitation and public presentation.
