See your match score & applyThe Scrum Associate will support the organization, execution, and continuous improvement of agile software development processes within the Project. The professional will work in coordination with focal points from CNJ and UNDP, contributing to the facilitation of agile ceremonies, monitoring team activities, and overseeing the execution of planned deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate and organize agile ceremonies (Planning, Daily, Review, and Retrospective).
- Ensure correct application of agile principles and practices by the project team.
- Identify, manage, and actively remove impediments impacting workflow.
- Partner with Project Manager and team in planning and scheduling activities.
- Support definition, prioritization, and continuous refinement of product and sprint backlogs.
- Ensure production of necessary project development artifacts.
- Administer monitoring and recording of activities, tasks, and issues in JIRA or equivalent tool.
- Track compliance with demands, deadlines, and technical/qualitative quality of developed solutions.
- Support solution deployment activities and project goal monitoring.
- Diagnose opportunities and implement continuous improvements in team processes and dynamics.
- Ensure application of methodologies and best practices established by CNJ and UNDP.
- Facilitate communication and strategic alignment among different actors and institutions involved in the Project.
- Systematize learnings, evidence, and best practices generated within the project.
- Produce or review technical documents, reports, and strategic materials to support decision-making and institutional dissemination.
- Perform other functions within the functional profile necessary for the Program's smooth operation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree - 4 year(s) experience OR High School certificate- 7 year(s) experience
- Minimum 7 years (for High School) or 4 years (for Higher Education) of professional or academic experience in facilitating agile ceremonies and practices in IT projects, especially using Scrum and Kanban.
- Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Experience applying agile practices in leading multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience articulating between technical teams, business areas, and stakeholders in software development environments is desirable.
- Experience in task tracking, sprint workflow rules, and agile management tools, especially Jira, is desirable.
- Experience administering projects in Jira: configuring Kanban boards, workflows, custom fields, screens, permissions, and advanced searches (JQL) to generate filters, reports, and dashboards is desirable.
- Experience applying agile methodologies and artifacts and techniques, including Scrum, Kanban, user stories, BDD, and agile metrics is desirable.
- Previous experience in projects developing solutions for the Judiciary is considered an advantage.
- Fluency in Portuguese is required.
- Fluency in English is desirable.
- Professional Scrum certification (PMI – ACP, A-CSM or PSMII or PSMIII) is desirable.
