The Associate for IT Project Management will be responsible for managing IT projects, distributing tasks to the project team, managing activities at different stages, and monitoring the technical quality of products developed within the Justice 4.0 Program. The role involves close coordination with CNJ and UNDP teams to ensure project goals and quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and record project actions based on defined goals and priorities, ensuring quality and schedule adherence
  • Support operational organization of deliverables and administrative procedures related to system development and project activities
  • Ensure technical quality of code and adoption of best development practices
  • Ensure compliance with information security and data protection best practices
  • Maintain necessary technical documentation
  • Contribute to standardization and continuous improvement of internal processes
  • Supervise administrative processes necessary for project execution
  • Coordinate with designated supervisor in accordance with CNJ and UNDP procedures
  • Support communication and stakeholder engagement for the project
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies including daily scrums, sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives
  • Define, prioritize and refine backlog as needed
  • Promote continuous team improvement and alignment with client and business needs
  • Lead, motivate and guide technical team members
  • Distribute and monitor activities promoting integrated and collaborative team work
  • Provide continuous performance feedback and professional development support
  • Provide technical support for project initiative implementation
  • Support definition and organization of technical strategies to meet identified demands
  • Coordinate internal and external solutions with supervisor and stakeholders
  • Contribute to appropriate implementation considering technical, operational and institutional aspects
  • Participate in action plan execution activities including missions and technical meetings
  • Support technical monitoring of ongoing actions
  • Contribute to qualitative monitoring of products and goals
  • Support knowledge building, sharing and capacity development relevant to the project
  • Contribute to knowledge networks and communities of practice
  • Support compilation and dissemination of project knowledge, products and tools

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree - 4 years of experience OR High School certificate - 7 years of experience
  • Minimum 7 years (for High School) or 4 years (for University Degree) of professional experience in IT project management, with experience in projects using agile methodologies
  • Experience using Jira, PWA, Planner or other project lifecycle management tools
  • Experience with standards, norms and frameworks related to secure management of technological environments
  • Experience in governance, event response and strategic communication
  • Experience managing projects in Technology and Innovation or Cybersecurity
  • Experience managing projects in Access to Justice
  • Professional experience in IT management and governance
  • Experience using source code management tools: GitLab, GitHub or similar
  • Experience in system development and implementation
  • Experience in projects or activities related to the public sector or Judiciary
  • Fluency in Portuguese is required
  • Intermediate level English is desirable
  • Professional certifications in project management (e.g., PMP or PMI-ACP) will be considered an advantage
