See your match score & applyThe Asociado/a en Emprendimientos Verdes will support the planning, development, and execution of strategies to promote green business development, sustainable and equitable business linkages in the productive, tourism, cultural, and environmental sectors within the Panama Canal watershed. The role involves coordination with multiple teams and stakeholders to foster green entrepreneurship and agribusiness initiatives, with a focus on women and youth.
Responsibilities
- Design and plan strategic management models to promote marketing and commercialization of productive initiatives in the Panama Canal watershed
- Implement workshops, diagnostics, and training for rural associative enterprises
- Develop strategic and operational plans to strengthen rural associative enterprises
- Monitor certification, brand development, and product registration processes
- Execute activities to develop and strengthen small producers and their organizations for green entrepreneurship
- Identify and coordinate with strategic partners in public and private sectors to strengthen sustainable productive linkages
- Coordinate agricultural production activities and technology transfer with other teams
- Promote formation and guidance for women and youth in microenterprise and agroindustry management
- Maintain close communication with supervisors to ensure achievement of project goals
- Participate in meetings and events with institutions, communities, and local authorities
- Prepare terms of reference for consultancy services and periodic reports
- Coordinate project execution, technical and administrative processes, and organize meetings and events
- Maintain vehicles, equipment, and office facilities assigned to the project
- Perform other functions necessary for efficient office and organizational operation
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree with 4 years of experience OR High School certificate with 7 years of experience
- Fluency in Spanish
- Experience in strategic, business, and commercial management related to green entrepreneurship
- Ability to design and implement workshops, diagnostics, plans, and strategies for strengthening rural associative enterprises
- Experience in certification processes, brand development, and product registration
- Skills in identifying and coordinating with strategic partners from public and private sectors
- Experience in coordinating agricultural production activities and technology transfer
- Ability to promote formation and guidance for women and youth in microenterprise and agroindustry management
- Capacity to coordinate with supervisors and participate in meetings with institutions, communities, and local authorities
- Experience in preparing terms of reference for consultancy services and periodic reporting
- Skills in project administrative management, technical follow-up, and event organization
- Ability to maintain vehicles, equipment, and office facilities
