National consultant to support the final evaluation of the UN Women Project: Women’s Increased Leadership for Democracy in Georgia (WILD)

The consultant will support the final external evaluation of the UN Women project aimed at increasing women's leadership and participation in democracy in Georgia. The evaluation will assess the project's relevance, effectiveness, sustainability, and impact on gender equality and women's empowerment.

Responsibilities

• Support the conduct and reporting phases of the final project evaluation
• Develop and validate the inception report including evaluation methodology and data collection plan
• Conduct desk reviews and data collection through interviews and focus groups with key stakeholders
• Analyze collected data and prepare the final evaluation report
• Participate in validation meetings and incorporate feedback from UN Women and the Evaluation Reference Group
• Ensure evaluation adheres to UN Women guidelines, UNEG standards, and UN-SWAP reporting requirements
• Collaborate with international consultant and UN Women staff for effective evaluation management

Requirements

• Master's Degree with 5 years of experience OR Bachelor's Degree with 7 years of experience
• Experience in governance, national planning, or related fields
• Proven expertise in evaluation methodologies, including mixed quantitative and qualitative research methods
• Familiarity with gender equality, women's empowerment, and human rights principles
• Ability to conduct desk reviews, interviews, and focus group discussions
• Experience working with UN Women or similar international organizations is desirable
• Fluency in English and Georgian languages
