Expert(e) National (e) Statisticien(ne) en Genre, Gestion et Analyse des bases de données

The consultant will provide specialized statistical expertise in gender to support the development of the Gender Profile in Haiti, manage a gender statistics database, coordinate with national institutions, and support rapid gender analyses and capacity building for women's organizations. The role involves data collection, analysis, database management, and technical coordination over a 12-month contract.

Responsibilities

• Technically and statistically support the development of the Gender Profile in Haiti including mapping data producers, inventorying gender indicators, consolidating and analyzing data, and producing statistical tables, graphics and reports.
• Design and manage a gender statistics database at the Resident Coordinator's Office (RCO) including needs assessment, architecture, data import and quality control procedures, prototype development, dashboards, governance protocols, confidentiality rules, and training.
• Serve as UN Women technical focal point for gender statistics with the Haitian Institute of Statistics and Informatics (IHSI) and government institutions, maintaining technical dialogue and coordination.
• Support the production of rapid gender analyses (ARG) including methodology, data collection tools, quality assurance, data analysis, and reporting.
• Provide technical support to the CRAF’d project to strengthen women's organizations' capacity in data collection, management, analysis and use.
• Ensure quality assurance, ethical standards, confidentiality, data protection, and proper documentation and dissemination of results.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• At least 6 years of relevant professional experience in data collection, processing, statistical analysis and data management.
• Excellent command of French and English (written and oral) required.
• Knowledge of Haitian Creole is desirable.
