See your match score & applyONU Mujeres requires an individual consultancy to provide specialized technical support on care systems, focusing on capacity building and development of public policies and comprehensive care systems. The consultant will develop technical inputs, policy proposals, training materials, and contribute to advocacy strategies to promote gender equality and women's economic empowerment in Mexico.
Responsibilities
- Develop technical inputs such as diagnostics, context analysis and technical documents related to comprehensive care systems.
- Generate proposals for the design of care policies.
- Collect baseline data and information for the production of public policy documents, concept notes and presentations on care.
- Review knowledge products generated on care.
- Develop content, materials, tools and methodologies for training programs, and facilitate workshops, trainings and capacity building spaces for public officials, women and civil society organizations on care.
- Contribute to UN Women's advocacy and coordination strategies with public sector and civil society actors by providing technical and contextual inputs.
- Provide inputs for identifying and disseminating best practices and lessons learned to guide project improvements linked to the office's activity plan.
- Prepare reports, progress updates or deliverables according to established formats and requirements for validation and monitoring of consultancy activities.
Requirements
- Master's degree in public policy, gender equality or related fields or two years of experience as a minimum requirement for this consultancy.
- At least 5 years of experience in the design and analysis of policies, programs or care models.
- At least 5 years of experience in designing and delivering workshops, trainings or courses related to care or other thematic priorities of UN Women.
- Experience working with multiple relevant actors from the public sector, private sector and international organizations on care-related issues.
- Proficiency in reading and writing English.
- Required proficiency in Spanish.
