See your match score & applyThe internship is located in the Management and Communication Unit (M&C), Centre for Learning and Multilingualism (CLM), Human Resources Management Service in United Nations Office at Geneva (UNOG). The intern supports training programme coordination, content creation, and marketing activities to promote staff development programs.
Responsibilities
- Participate in developing, implementing, and evaluating training and learning programs covering areas such as career development, diversity, equity and inclusion, management and leadership.
- Support individuals enrolled in online and in-person courses and workshops by participating in webinars, overseeing logistics, maintaining regular communication, updating learning platforms with relevant materials, and providing assistance as needed.
- Collaborate closely on gathering feedback, editing and updating surveys, and analyzing responses to improve program efficacy.
- Provide logistical assistance to CLM programme managers in the day-to-day operations of implementing various learning activities both online and in-person.
- Create and publish internal marketing materials for CLM courses and activities, specifically monthly newsletters, Activity of Calendar and other internal communication materials such as Broadcasts.
- Collaborate with colleagues across departments to create visual materials and keep internal communication channels up to date to engage targeted audiences, such as the CLM official website.
- Support the redesign of CLM’s official video to highlight its vision, initiatives, and activities.
Requirements
- Applicants must be enrolled in, or have recently completed, a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher); or be enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent).
- Applicants to the UN Internship Programme are not required to have professional work experience.
- A field of study closely related to the type of internship applied for is required.
- Applicants must be a student in the final year of the first university degree (bachelor or equivalent), Master’s or Ph.D. Programme or equivalent, or have completed a Bachelor’s, Master’s or Ph.D. Programme.
- Applicants must have good knowledge of standard software applications, especially MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Teams.
- Experience in the use of learning management systems (LMS) is desirable.
- Experience in design and use of design tools (Canva, Genially, Rise 360, etc.) is desirable.
- Fluency in spoken and written English is required for the internship.
- Knowledge of French is an advantage.
