The intern will support the Climate Change, Food Security & Natural Resources Division in developing and promoting climate-response policies, plans, and programmes. They will assist with preparations for COP32 and contribute to various cross-cutting themes within the division.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in research on climate-related themes.
  • Assist in drafting and editing of publications, briefs and other documents.
  • Assist in maintaining databases.
  • Assist in tracking project negotiation and implementation.
  • Participate in the organization of meetings and events.
  • Assist with outreach activities.
  • Assist the preparation for the COP32.
  • Participate in the division's day-to-day operational tasks including supporting the development of presentations and liaison with partner organizations.
  • Contribute in administrative tasks as assigned.
  • Participate in meetings and draft meeting minutes.

Requirements

  • Be enrolled in, or have completed, a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher).
  • Be enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor's degree or equivalent).
  • Fluency in both oral and written English is required.
  • Knowledge of French is desirable.
