The role focuses on poverty reduction and achieving project results aligned with Save the Children's strategic guidelines and donor standards, promoting active participation of partner organizations and community actors.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate plans, strategies and implementation of the G-STAR project.
- Ensure quality, effectiveness and efficiency in project phases: planning, execution, programmatic and administrative-financial management, monitoring, evaluation and closure.
- Ensure compliance with project results within strategic guidelines, policies, procedures, norms and corporate standards of Save the Children and the donor.
- Promote active participation of partner organizations, municipal governments and community actors.
- Contribute to achieving the Country Strategy through project work.
Requirements
- Postgraduate or higher studies in project management, human rights or similar fields.
- Bachelor's degree in social sciences/humanities, human rights or similar.
- Certification in Program Management Methodology PMM (desirable).
- At least 6 years of experience in project management.
- At least 4 years of experience in coordination roles implementing projects focused on early childhood.
- Experience working in adolescent or youth development initiatives, particularly related to employability and/or entrepreneurship.
- Specific experience in community development, planning, preparation and evaluation of gender or gender-based violence projects.
- Experience in articulation and coordination in networks and platforms.
- Availability and flexibility to adapt to adverse emergency situations.
- Availability for frequent travel to municipalities in La Paz.
- Specific knowledge about adolescents and child protection.
- Strong knowledge in advocacy and ability to establish and maintain alliances.
- Knowledge of the context and regulatory framework related to education, health and child protection.
- Knowledge of budgetary and financial control from donors.
- General knowledge of project management tools such as PRIME or similar.
- Strategic and programmatic thinking.
- Analytical and synthesis capacity.

- Ability to work under pressure and results-oriented.
- Dynamism, initiative and proactivity to achieve project results in identified municipalities.

- English at B2 upper intermediate level (desirable).
