Project officer, UZHF (Sohag) Re-advertisement

Support the implementation of the Scaling Up Economic Empowerment and Systemic Integration project by coordinating capacity-building activities, partnerships, and community-based interventions. Work closely with Plan International Egypt teams, partner organizations, and local stakeholders to support training delivery, mentorship follow-up, and project monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Support and follow up on capacity‑building activities with partner CBOs.
• Conduct field visits to monitor progress, provide support, and identify challenges.
• Organize reflection sessions to gather feedback and document lessons learned.
• Coordinate with consultants and service providers for assessments and trainings.
• Support delivery of social entrepreneurship and livelihood programmes.
• Manage logistics and administration for project activities.
• Collect and analyze data and feedback to inform improvements.
• Contribute to monitoring and reporting, including inputs for donor communications.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies or similar field.
• 3-5 years of experience with a proven record of success at a similar level preferably in an INGO sector.
• Experience working with government entities, civil society organizations on livelihoods, economic empowerment, or community development projects.
• Experience in planning, conducting, and facilitating trainings/workshops.
• Strong understanding of the socio-economic and governance context in Egypt, particularly challenges faced by vulnerable and marginalized groups.
• Ability to coordinate and deliver participatory training and learning programmes.
• Proven skills in documentation, reporting, and analysis of lessons learned, good practices, and project outcomes.
