Support the design, testing and adaptation of innovative approaches that address barriers affecting girls’ education, SRHR, climate change youth economic empowerment and gender equality. Coordinate the day-to-day implementation of innovation-related activities within the Girls Get Equal Project and facilitate innovation processes with young people, community groups, schools, government institutions and consortium partners.

Responsibilities

  • Support the design, testing and adaptation of innovative approaches that address barriers affecting girls’ education, SRHR, climate change youth economic empowerment and gender equality
  • Coordinate the day-to-day implementation of innovation-related activities within the Girls Get Equal Project
  • Facilitate innovation processes with young people, community groups, schools, government institutions and consortium partners
  • Coordinate innovation workshops, learning events, co-creation sessions and design-thinking activities involving girls and young women
  • Monitor innovation pilots and ensure activities are implemented according to approved plans, budgets and quality standards
  • Collect, analyse and document lessons learned, good practices, success stories and evidence generated through innovation activities
  • Work closely with the MERL team to monitor innovation indicators and ensure quality data collection and reporting
  • Support the development of innovation tools, methodologies, guidelines and learning products
  • Promote meaningful participation of girls and young people in the identification, design and implementation of innovative solutions
  • Support partnerships with local government institutions, civil society organisations, private sector actors and innovation ecosystems where relevant

Requirements

  • University degree or equivalent in Social work, Social Science, development studies or equivalent combination of relevant training and experience
  • Work experience, preferably focused on youth, girls’ empowerment, innovation, education or economic empowerment, supervision and community mobilisation
  • Proven ability to implement Gender and Influencing activities with holistic approach and integrated to child protection right
  • Experience in project planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting
  • Strong facilitation, coordination and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience documenting lessons learned, best practices and project results
  • High level of personal integrity, commitment and professional responsibility with CP and GBV exigencies
  • Knowledge of youth economic empowerment and entrepreneurship programming
