Graduate Intern- Communications and Influencing

Plan International Uganda seeks a Graduate Intern for Communications and Influencing to support strategic internal and external communications aligned with global and country strategies. The role is a 6-month internship based at the Country Office in Kampala, Uganda.

Responsibilities

• Support effective and strategic internal and external communications.
• Contribute to targeted policy advocacy, strategic communications and campaigns, and partnership efforts aligned with Plan International Uganda’s Influencing Strategy.
• Facilitate communication approaches designed to meet the ambitions of the Global and Uganda Country Strategy (2023-2027).

Requirements

• The role is a 6 months internship position.
• The candidate will report to the Communications Officer.
• The position supports Plan International Uganda’s Influencing Strategy guided by global and country strategies.
• Candidates must comply with Plan International's Safeguarding Children and Young People policy and participate in pre-employment checks including the Inter Agency Misconduct Disclosure Scheme.
