Country Finance Manager

The Country Finance Manager (CFM) leads the finance function in Central African Republic, ensuring effective implementation of financial systems, controls, and compliance with organisational and donor requirements. As a member of the Country Leadership Team, the CFM contributes to strategic decision-making, provides financial guidance to management, and ensures sound financial governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the finance function in Central African Republic ensuring effective implementation of financial systems and controls.
• Ensure compliance with organisational and donor financial requirements.
• Provide financial guidance and support to the Country Leadership Team and management.
• Contribute to strategic decision-making processes within the country office.
• Manage financial reporting and governance to ensure transparency and accountability.
• Coordinate with the Hub Finance Director in Cameroon for functional oversight.
• Support capacity building and training of finance staff as needed.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in financial management, preferably in international development or humanitarian organizations.
• Experience in managing financial systems, controls, and compliance with donor requirements.
• Strong knowledge of financial governance and reporting.
• Ability to provide financial guidance to senior management and contribute to strategic decision-making.
• Fluency in English is required; knowledge of French is an asset.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time within the country and region.
• Commitment to child protection policies and safeguarding standards.
• Ability to work in a multicultural and diverse environment.
