Risk and Compliance Intern

The Risk and Compliance Intern will support the Risk and Compliance function by assisting with compliance tasks, conducting spot checks, supporting finance with archiving, and assisting with audit coordination and training. This internship offers practical experience within an international humanitarian organization based in Ouagadougou.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with NRC policies, tools, manuals and guidelines.
• Implement delegated tasks according to the work and development plan.
• Prepare and develop progress reports as requested by the Risk and Compliance Coordinator.
• Promote and share ideas to improve the Risk and Compliance management system.
• Conduct unannounced checks based on a predefined work plan.
• Support the finance department with document archiving.
• Review and transmit documents for coordination of external audits.
• Assist the Risk and Compliance Manager during trainings provided by the department.
• Perform any other related tasks assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum a BAC+2 diploma in audit, control, management, economics or a related discipline.
• Knowledge of English is desirable.
• Proficiency in computer tools.
