Finance Manager Bangladesh

The Finance Manager will ensure effective development, implementation, and oversight of financial policies, procedures, and systems in NRC Bangladesh. The role includes financial planning, budgeting, management, strengthening financial controls, compliance with donor and statutory requirements, and providing financial services and guidance to management.

Responsibilities

• Line management of staff including performance management, workforce planning, recruitment, induction, development, and duty of care.
• Provide finance support and supervision.
• Develop finance training and train staff with financial responsibilities.
• Ensure compliance and adherence to policies, guidance, procedures, donor and auditor requirements, and Bangladesh legal requirements.
• Implement financial systems, routines, and procedures.
• Control budgets and monitor cashflow.
• Provide financial reports and analysis.
• Implement anti-corruption policy.

Requirements

• Master's Degree required.
• Senior financial management experience in a humanitarian/recovery context.
• Proficiency in computer software and modern accounting systems.
• Familiarity with the financial operating context in Bangladesh.
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
• Legal eligibility to work in Bangladesh is mandatory.
