Responsible for maintenance production concerning pneudraulic systems, fuel systems, fuselage/landing gears and flight control systems. Performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of aircraft, components and related equipment/tools, ensuring aircraft serviceability and flight safety of E-3A aircraft.

Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft fuselage systems (pneudraulic, fuel, fuselage/landing gear and flight controls)
  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, servicing, inspection, testing, modification, evaluation, repair, replacement and adjustment of aircraft components and related support/test equipment and tools including AGE basic servicing
  • Perform inspections, leak checks and maintenance inside aircraft integral tanks in accordance with applicable Technical Orders/instructions
  • Maintain inspection and maintenance records
  • Support engine ground runs
  • Perform aircraft ground handling
  • Perform acceptance and transfer inspections under guidance of Quality Control
  • Inspect, test and certify the condition of new parts stored at supply locations
  • Provide technical information on assigned equipment, assist debriefing experts and recommend methods to improve equipment performance and maintenance procedures
  • Function as technical publications, Consolidated Tool Kit (CTK) and tool monitor
  • Provide Training Section inputs on training analysis, required level of learning and method of delivery related aspects and support training courses as directed
  • Conduct on-the-job training and advise newly assigned personnel
  • Cross-train and qualify in all section assigned trades
  • Operate motor vehicles, support and test equipment
  • Perform dispatcher and general housekeeping duties

Requirements

  • Very good working knowledge of aircraft fuselage systems maintenance acquired through at least 3 years related, current professional experience
  • Good working knowledge of interpreting technical publications and independently analysing and rectifying technical problems
  • Higher Secondary education and completed intermediate vocational training in aircraft maintenance encompassing the mentioned aircraft fuselage systems, or Secondary education and completed appropriate advanced vocational training with at least 4 years post related, current professional experience
  • Driving license equivalent to European Class B
  • Sufficient English proficiency as work is conducted mainly in English
  • Adequate knowledge of Standard Automatic Data Processing (ADP)
  • Desirable: Previous NATO assignment
  • Desirable: Experience working in an international / military environment
  • Desirable: Experience in maintaining aircraft, or aircraft systems
  • Desirable: At least basic training in /knowledge of Disabled Aircraft Recovery (DAR)
