The Principal Technician (ICT Systems) will join the NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCIA) in Brunssum, Netherlands, to support NATO's Digital Endeavour by providing ICT system repair, maintenance, and hardware asset management services. Requirements

  • Higher vocational training in a relevant discipline (such as Telecommunications, Electronics, Electrical, or Network Engineering) with 3 years post-related experience; or a secondary educational qualification with 5 years post-related experience within the past 10 years.
  • Proven experience configuring network hardware, routing protocols, and switches with the ability to work independently to solve problems.
  • Deep understanding of communication protocols (TCP/IP) and network troubleshooting techniques utilizing complex test equipment.
  • At least 2 years of experience leading, supervising, motivating, or directing a technical team of technicians.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
