The LANDCOM Internship Programme 2027 offers current students and recent graduates the opportunity to gain experience in an international organization. The internship focuses on supporting the Family Support, Morale, and Welfare section by providing administrative and organizational assistance to enhance service delivery and section efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and document all steps newcomers and departing personnel must complete (vehicle registration/deregistration, residency, local administration etc.).
  • Create newcomer information packs covering essential tasks, locations, documents and timelines.
  • Develop clear, step-by-step departure checklists for personnel and families.
  • Produce easy-to-follow instructions for host nation vehicle registration and deregistration including document templates and appointment guidance.
  • Build a simple, centralized digital information hub (teams page) for all arrival and departure resources.
  • Draft slides, handouts and talking points for newcomer briefings.
  • Establish a basic system to collect user feedback and update materials regularly.
  • Provide routine administrative and organizational support to Morale and Welfare staff to enhance service delivery and section efficiency.

Requirements

  • All applicants must be citizens of a NATO member nation.
  • A certificate from the University stating that an internship on their subjects of study is necessary for professional development.
  • Applicants must be proficient in English.
  • Applicants must have at least two years of successful university study or equivalent.
  • The program is open to current students or recent graduates (degree obtained within the last 18 months).
  • English Level SLP 2222 or Higher.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Interest in administration, HR, public service or community support.
  • Ability to research, organize information and create clear written products.
  • Comfortable working independently and building new processes.
  • Basic computer literacy (MS Office, PDFs etc.).
