See your match score & applyThe IKM Analyst supports the Allied Land Command by managing logistics data systems, providing logistic situational awareness, and assisting with training on logistic systems and AI integration. The role involves supporting logistics functional area services and contributing to logistic data collection and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Support the ACOS by provision of logistics functional area (FAS) support in general.
- Provide required logistic data to contribute to accurate Logistic situational awareness (SA) using logistics functional area (FAS).
- Support the ACOS by development of required data collections outside logistics functional area (FAS).
- Support the Assistant (Logistics Information Systems (LIS) Management and Administration) to establish different Logistic SA products like Recognized Logistic Picture (RLP) and required reports.
- Support the LIS Administrator in the implementation of logistics functional area (FAS) in G4 as well as training including interoperability with other Functional Area Services (FAS).
- Provide assistance to all meetings and conferences conducted by G4 Division.
- May be required to undertake operation deployments in support of military operations and exercises and/or TDY assignments both within and without NATO's boundaries.
Requirements
- University Degree in logistics, transport or related discipline and 2 years function related experience, or Higher Secondary education and completed advanced vocational training in that discipline leading to a professional qualification or professional accreditation with 4 years post related experience.
- Three years' experience in the operation of logistics applications such as LOGFAS.
- Experience as staff related IKM Analyst/Advisor in military headquarters or civilian/private organizations.
- Knowledge of systematic management of vital knowledge to create value for the organization by capturing, sharing, developing and exploiting collective knowledge to improve performance, support decision making and mitigate risks.
- Experience in logistics management including planning, organizing, and directing programmes, services, and support activities through all logistics functions.
- Ability to work under routine direction using limited discretion in resolving issues or enquiries.
- Sufficient communication skills for effective dialogue with customers, suppliers and partners.
- Ability to work in a team and plan, schedule and monitor own work within short time horizons.
- English language proficiency at SLP 3333 (Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing).
- Experience of a similar function in a NATO or national logistics environment is desirable.
- Previous experience in a military headquarters or international organization is desirable.
- Experience in logistic (national and international) and planning of logistic training is desirable.
- Previous experience in NATO Mission is desirable.
