See your match score & applyThe Assistant, Analytical Support provides analytical and administrative support to the Joint Intelligence and Security Division's Intelligence Production Unit at NATO Headquarters. The role involves transforming complex data into visual representations to support intelligence analysis and coordinating meetings and events with NATO members and intelligence services.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the efficient flow of information for the assigned team by collecting, categorising, tracking and visualising relevant information and presenting it as part of the final analysis.
- Retrieve and distribute relevant information and documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintain and update document repositories and intranet pages as required.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of relevant courses of action to mitigate strategic threats to NATO through drafting, editing, completion, and presentation of intelligence products.
- Act as a primary point of contact for data analysis and visualisation requests.
- Coordinate work and relations with relevant colleagues to ensure efficient planning and oversight of infographic activities.
- Liaise with other IPU personnel to leverage knowledge and share best practices.
- Provide constructive suggestions to improve office procedures.
- Proactively develop skills to create efficiencies in managing information and using office tools.
- Coordinate the development of best practice and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) regarding data visualisation in the IPU.
- Perform any other related duty as assigned.
Requirements
- Possess higher secondary education qualification with 4 years post-related experience, or upper vocational training/post-secondary degree in a relevant discipline coupled with 2 years of post-related experience.
- Possess demonstrable experience working with analytical tools, like PowerBI, and visualisation software.
- Possess strong written, editing and analytical skills in order to visualise data and present clear and concise information.
- Be able to multi-task several high-priority projects.
- Possess the following minimum levels of NATO’s official languages (English/French): V (“Advanced”) in one; I (“Beginner”) in the other.
- Experience within a multidisciplinary and multi-cultural working environment is an advantage.
- Experience with supporting committees, multi-year projects, conferences and trainings, or financial project is an advantage.
- Higher level of the NATO official languages is an advantage.
