Under the responsibility of the associative coordinator of MSF France and in close collaboration with the editorial committee of Le Souk and the GUPA team, the Webmaster is responsible for updating the associative website "Le Souk", supporting users, and contributing to content moderation. The role also involves being the technical focal point for site maintenance and implementing new features.

Responsibilities

  • Edit and update content on Le Souk: publish content (static pages, job offers, obituaries, institutional news, operational updates, reports)
  • Manage the homepage of Le Souk
  • Monitor content to avoid duplicates and ensure coherence, accuracy, and quality
  • Translate some content between English and French
  • Support users of Le Souk: conduct regular Q&A sessions with movement editors, assist users in publishing, manage the Le Souk mailbox, verify identities and provide logins
  • Contribute to moderation: monitor comments and posts to ensure compliance with terms of use, report problematic posts to the editorial committee
  • Ensure technical maintenance: monitor bugs and necessary evolutions, follow up with the development and maintenance service provider, coordinate development projects with IT department
  • Work with editorial committee to establish specifications for potential evolutions, e.g., simplifying and automating job offers
  • Identify development needs
  • Monitor site audience and performance
  • Participate in editorial meetings and write minutes

Requirements

  • Bac+3 minimum in communication or web project management, web publishing, web journalism, webmaster
  • 3 years of experience in a similar position desired
  • Skills in web publishing tools, written communication, project management, GA4, Drupal
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multicultural and decentralized team
  • Autonomy and sense of responsibility
  • Ability to manage competing priorities
  • Interest in associative issues
  • Knowledge of MSF
  • Fluent French and English (written and oral) at C1 level minimum
  • Spanish is an asset (B2 or higher)
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization in France (EU citizen) or a residence permit allowing work in France
