The intern will support the Finance Officer in executing tasks related to risk and compliance, including risk management, compliance, audit report review, and document archiving. This internship offers a structured 6-month experience to develop professional skills within UNICEF Niger's operational environment.
Responsibilities
- Support the team in risk and compliance management tasks.
- Assist in reviewing spot check and audit reports.
- Assist in managing audit findings.
- Assist in drafting correspondence.
- Assist in archiving documents.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated (within 2 years) with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in financial management, accounting, control, or audit.
- Minimum age of 18 and maximum age of 35 at the time of application.
- Fluency in French is required; knowledge of English is an asset.
- Good computer skills including proficiency in office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and internet usage.
- Excellent academic results or strong academic/professional recommendation letters.
- No immediate family members working at UNICEF.
