The Officer, HR Business Improvement leads the design and delivery of change management initiatives related to HR transformation and process improvement within NATO's International Staff. The role involves researching and recommending the best use of technologies and systems to align HR operations with organizational objectives.
Responsibilities
- Initiate, plan and lead end-to-end project execution related to NHR business improvement initiatives enhancing operational efficiency, resilience and business continuity.
- Contribute to risk assessments and mitigations.
- Develop and support change management initiatives.
- Keep abreast of developments in HR tools and technologies, as well as processes, to modernise NHR ways of working.
- Provide suggestions on leveraging existing tools, processes and procedures to increase NHR operational efficiency.
- Document existing NHR workflows and processes to identify inefficiencies and risks.
- Coordinate and build strong partnerships with relevant stakeholders to successfully drive outcomes.
- Provide regular updates and feedback to stakeholders to promote efficient information management across NHR sections.
- Share best practices in terms of updated, clear and easily accessible HR Information and Knowledge Management.
- Produce and present relevant reports and statistics.
- Perform any other related duty as assigned.
Requirements
- Possess a university degree in Business Management, Information Systems or other relevant discipline.
- Have at least 5 years’ experience in managing change, ideally in an international organisation or a multicultural environment.
- Be familiar with ICT systems, office software packages, and their application to enable human resource services through technology.
- Possess the following minimum levels of NATO’s official languages (English/French): V (“Advanced”) in one; II (“Elementary”) in the other.
- Working knowledge of software applications, in particular collaborative tools, tasking tools and solutions, including techniques for retrieving, processing and presenting information (considered an advantage).
- Experience in the NATO operating environment & related knowledge of NATO structure, practices & business processes (considered an advantage).
