Economic Recovery and MEAL Intern

This internship supports the Global Economic Recovery and MEAL Team in data, learning, and knowledge management, focusing on the Self-Reliance Index. The intern will assist in institutionalizing the use of the Self-Reliance Index, compiling global results, enhancing portfolio mapping, supporting data management initiatives, and contributing to research and communication products.

Responsibilities

• Support the institutionalization of the Self-Reliance Index, including dashboard development and coordination of rollout across country operations.
• Assist in the compilation of DRC’s global aggregated results.
• Enhance portfolio mapping and knowledge management for Economic Recovery and CVA programming.
• Support collaboration with MEAL and other teams on data and information management initiatives.
• Contribute to ad hoc research, analysis, and internal communication products.

Requirements

• You must be enrolled in a university during the entire internship period.
• Strong ability for analytical thinking.
• Solid research skills.
• Ability to express evidence well in writing and verbally.
• Adaptability and commitment to constant learning.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 is a big asset.
