IC, Research Assistant

The IC Research Assistant will deliver composite research packages including sector mapping, policy briefs and strategy notes to support the Resident Coordinator and UN Country Team in promoting sustainable development progress in Saudi Arabia. The role supports the UN Resident Coordinator Office and UNCT efforts towards Vision 2030 and the Sustainable Development Goals.

Responsibilities

• Provide well researched topical and sectoral mapping, literature reviews, policy briefs, strategy notes, etc.
• Support the efforts of the Resident Coordinator Office and the United Nations Country Team by delivering composite research packages.
• Enhance and accelerate development of Saudi Arabia towards achieving Vision 2030 and the 9 Missions of the Sustainable Development and UN Agenda 2030 and the 17 SDGs.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) degree in Law, Economics, Statistics, or other related Social Science is required.
• All candidates must submit a copy of the required educational degree.
• Incomplete applications will not be reviewed.
• No working experience is required for this position.
• Strong research and writing skills is required.
• Fluency in Arabic is required.
• Knowledge of English is required.
